Enjoyed a great meal, I do like this location as there is parking which is nice. The atmosphere is laid back and the food and drinks are wonderful. Our server was delightful and did a fantastic job. That said, this was at dinner time and it only appeared that two servers were on shift which caused them to be stretched very thin and delayed drinks and thinks like that. Not their fault, and it could have been due to sick calls, but at the end of the day the service did suffer. I would certainly go back as it could have been a one of. The Olive oil and pepper martini was fantastic and the pizza delish!

Just love going to Merchant's. We have enjoyed everything we have ordered at Merchant's. We have been here many times and enjoyed meals from their varied menu to specialty menus for St. Patrick's Day when it was very Guinness focused. Every meal is well presented and fresh and perfectly prepared. Pasta is cooked al dente, as it should be. Always fresh and interesting options to choose from. Love that they have a nice wine list and lots of on tap beers as well, including Guinness, as it is my favourite and pairs very well with the Guinness battered fish & chips. Our "go-to" restaurant in Calgary. Service is always attentive and friendly. There is also a lovely patio in the front of the restaurant which is open to the main building so you can choose to sit in either area. Parking can be tricky but worth it.

Love this place. Huge wine and beer menu. Fantastic menu. I really love the carbonara. Great specials throughout the week.

This place has a really nice lounge atmosphere. It's got a nice, upscale feel that anyone would feel comfortable in. Cocktails are great and food is delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Always there when drinks were getting low. Highly recommend this place for date night, girls night or a casual after work hang out.

I’ve been here twice now, and I honestly have to leave a review because I’ve been blown away both times. I was there on Wednesday with some girl friends for a little girl dinner. They had 1/2 price bottles of wine as their drink special, and the ones we decided to get were great. The Anno Domini Vineyards rose was so good that we ended up buying a second bottle. We also got the calamari, charcuterie board, and carpaccio; all of which I’d highly recommend trying. I don’t remember our server’s name that night, but she was incredibly accommodating and polite. I came again the following Sunday with another girl friend, and we had a classy little dinner. Our server Courtney was phenomenal; her service and communication were great. My friend and I ordered an appetizer (truffle parmesan chips), entrees (aaa New Yorker steak and the truffle mushroom pizza), and dessert (cream catalana de vainilla), and the quality of everything was amazing. I highly recommend coming here. Even when it’s busy, the servers still make their best effort to attend to their tables. Plus the food is to die for.

First time at the place , very fine and refined environment . I loved the service (all the attendants were very nice and friendly) My salad was simply delicious, but I ordered a protein to go with it (chicken) and this one wasn't so tasty, I was quite disappointed. My husband loved his dish and it came with a delicious sauce, in this case I used it to eat the chicken and it was spectacular.

We went there today with friends. The food was delicious! My carbonara was probably the best I’ve ever tried. The pepperoni and mushrooms pizza was also delicious - real pepperoni. Customer service was sharp and friendly. We look forward to next time.

Mackenzie was absolutely fantastic! She was so attentive and always made sure to check on our table. She was also incredibly helpful in getting our drinks and food out as quickly as possible. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for great service. And the patio is also very dog-friendly, which is a huge plus!
